Biography
Shikha Sinha, MSPH, brings over twenty years of extensive expertise in healthcare management to her current role as part of the North Carolina Secretary of State's office. Prior to this position, she served as the Director of Administrative Investigations at the North Carolina Medical Board for over eight years, overseeing critical regulatory functions.
In 2005, Shikha founded and successfully operated her own Home Health Care Agency, demonstrating entrepreneurial acumen before selling the business in 2015. Her career has also included significant roles in the pharmaceutical industry, where she excelled as a Project Manager specializing in Data Management and Biostatistics.
Shikha holds a BS in Biology and earned her MSPH in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of South Carolina. Her professional contributions extend beyond her primary roles, as evidenced by her service on several prominent boards and committees, including the North Carolina Medical Board, North Carolina Child Fatality Task Force, NC Perfusionist Advisory Council, and the NC Physicians Health Program Compliance Committee.
